This light bar is well built and generally feels solid. The driver's side alley light was DOA with a crack in the lens, this did not bother me much because I won't use them often. The wiring harness (controller side) was a little short after going through the firewall, so I had to mount the controller on the dashboard. I fear it may melt in very hot weather so I store it under the seat when I'm not in there. The wiring harness had bare copper wire instead of wire lugs, I had to crimp and solder my own wire lugs to it. I don't believe the average person has experience with this.I recommend;Include wire lugs on the battery side of the harness.Make the controller side of the harness a few feet longer, we can always wind-up extra lengthMake the controller mount clip onto the controller, this way the controller could be mounted to the headliner without it falling on the driver. (I mean physically clip, not magnetic. The magnetic aspect of the mount is almost useless)If you want to really go all-out;Include bolt-head self-tapping screwsInclude some zip-tiesNow I have no idea how this lightbar will hold up in the rain or snow, but it does handle a very bumpy ride and sub-freezing temperatures.I still need to go test the problematic alley-light, I will test the plug for voltage and the LED for resistance. If I can figure out how to update a review; I will when I have tested everything.Overall, I think I had a little misfortune with the broken light but, this light-bar is well worth what I paid for it. It's stylish too...Edit: Only one of the three LEDs in the alley light was broken, I bridged the connection and the light works well now. The light-bar itself has held up well with snow and rain, I'm not afraid to pressure wash it at low pressure.Edit 2;After outliving the truck I bought it for; I am still absolutely pleased with this light, never thought it would hold up as long as this. I plan to put it back on my next plow truck. I have disassembled the lightbar completely and I have to say I am impressed, the small amount of circuitry inside the bar itself is sealed in silicone and the light modules themselves seal against the housing. I realize now that having a pattern indication on the controller is a very rare feature. Triple A+ after a year, still looks and works like new.Edit 3: (2nd and 3rd photos) After 2 and a half years this light finally gets to retire as I'm attempting to build my own. The alley lights didn't hold up to me removing them multiple times but would've been perfectly fine otherwise. I still love this light like the day I bought it. From -20 Fahrenheit up to the 110-degree scorching midwest summer, this bar survived and still works great. I've even found its ability to melt ice buildup when it's on very helpful. I'll never once regret this purchase, it has served me very well.
