Great will work great when I get stuck!I used these on someone’s car that was stuck in the snow. The tires didn’t catch on your nubs. Ended up using them as shovels, to clear out the snow.Three months later, I got stuck in mud. It took a moment or two, but my LT radials finally caught on the trax, and I was able to get out of the mud. Good thing too, cause I was in brown bear country, with no cell signalGood deal. Nubs come of easy if tires are spun. Has mounting holes, but no bag or gear to mountI bought these a couple months ago to put in my rear wheel drive Seqouia in case I ever get stuck on the beach in Florida. I've probably gone 15 times without getting stuck.Yesterday while I was in the water, I noticed that someone got stuck right behind my vehicle and knew I would have a hard time getting out. When the time came to leave, I only made it a few inches before the tires began to dig in. I hopped out, grabbed the recovery boards, and the random stranger next to me grabbed one and started helping (beach people are awesome!). We each spent about 1 minute clearing some sand using the boards as shovels, and then shoved them under the tires. With just a small amount of wheel spin the tires grabbed on and then I drove right out.The guy that helped mentioned that he was going to try to leave right after me. He was in a fwd honda suv. Of course he got stuck also. With my Sequoia parked safely out of the soft sand, I grabbed the boards and we went to work on his vehicle. His vehicle sat lower, and was dug in a bit deeper, so took 2 or 3 minutes to clear the sand from behind his tires. Once we shoved the boards behind his tires, he was able to drive right out, again with just a small amount of wheel spin.After 2 uses, the boards show a tiny bit of wear from the tires spinning on them, but it is minimal and I'm sure I could use them for this purpose 50 more times, but let's hope I never get stuck near that many times.These are solid traction boards the come complete with bag and mounting hardware. You can pay more buy why would you want to?Seem to be a good value traction board. Hope I dont have to use for intended use. Our motorhome is 2wd and I got stuck once in campground on a slight hill. I am going to use for leveling and as a shield to protect towed car.worked for me in deep, soft sand. no problems at all with these. came in a nice nylon bag with carry handles. ill prob buy another set as sparesBelieve it or not I have never been stuck, I bought this just in case. Much to my surprise, the day I got it was the first day I ever got stuck in the mud. Luckily I had this in my truck. I pulled it out. Shoved it under my tires and what do you know.... it saved me from needing towed. Worth every penny. Can't wait until winter to see how it works just in case.
